I would like to wholeheartedly thank the following people for their financial and moral support in the purchase of the cello you will hear tonight. This cello was commissioned from Michele Ashley in late 2020 and received in late 2021. Playing on this cello has been an amazing, fulfilling experience for me and has helped me to grow in unexpected ways as a musician. It is made even more special by the fact that so many generous friends and family were involved in its acquisition. Every time I read this list of names, I feel grateful and supported.

Thank you to all of you!

2020 Wisconsin Sound Series

Presented By The Wisconsin Union Theater

Jan. 24, Feb. 2, Feb. 7, Apr. 11, May 2

The Wisconsin Union Theater is proud to present the Wisconsin Sound Series, a new virtual concert series featuring local Wisconsin artists. The COVID-19 pandemic has been particularly challenging for performing artists with numerous canceled performances and tours; closures of theaters and live performing arts venues; travel restrictions; and the need to stay home to keep themselves and their loved ones safe.

The Wisconsin Union Theater wants to do its part to support the great talent right here in Wisconsin, and help them continue to create and enrich our lives with their artistry. We are committed to our mission of delivering high quality performing arts to our community, even if our shared experience is only safe through a virtual space right now.

The Wisconsin Sound Series is supported in part by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts.
